Kenyan runners once again dominated the Boston Marathon, with Sharon Lokedi and John Korir retaining their respective titles in the women's and men's races. In a stunning performance, Korir broke the course record, finishing the race in an incredible time of 2 hours, 1 minute, and 52 seconds - the fifth-fastest marathon time in history.
The elite Kenyan runners faced a strong field of competitors, but their endurance and speed proved too much for the opposition. Lokedi won the women's race for the second consecutive year, solidifying her status as one of the world's top female marathon runners.
