Years of Displacement, Hunger, and Loss Haunt Sudanese Families

Millions of Sudanese continue to struggle with displacement, food insecurity, and immense personal loss as the country's crises persist.
The situation in Sudan remains dire, with over nine million people displaced and nearly 29 million facing acute hunger. Families across the country have endured years of upheaval, instability, and loss, leaving deep scars on both individuals and communities.
For many Sudanese, the path to safety and security has been filled with unimaginable hardship. Forced to flee their homes due to conflict, natural disasters, and economic collapse, these families have found themselves struggling to survive in makeshift camps and temporary shelters, often lacking access to basic necessities such as food, clean water, and medical care.
