Unlikely Allies Forge Path to Peace in Gaza

An Israeli and Palestinian activist share their vision for reconciliation and justice in the Gaza Strip, despite personal tragedies on both sides.
In a remarkable display of resilience and vision, two individuals who have endured unimaginable personal tragedies on opposing sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict have come together to forge a path towards peace in the Gaza Strip. Maoz Inon, an Israeli activist, and Aziz Abu Sarah, a Palestinian counterpart, have authored a new book titled "The Future Is Peace" that offers a unique and nuanced perspective on the path forward.
Inon's parents were killed in a Hamas attack on October 7th, while Abu Sarah's brother died after being tortured in an Israeli military prison. Despite these profound losses, the two have found common ground in their shared belief that peace and reconciliation are not only possible, but essential for the future of the region.
