The Planning Inspectorate announces significant changes to how planning and enforcement appeals are submitted, transitioning to a streamlined online platform.
In a move aimed at modernizing and streamlining the planning enforcement process, the Planning Inspectorate has announced forthcoming changes to how enforcement appeals are submitted. Effective soon, all planning and enforcement appeals must now be made through the newly launched Appeal a planning decision service.
The transition to this centralized digital platform is part of the Inspectorate's ongoing efforts to improve efficiency and transparency within the planning system. By consolidating the appeals process onto a single, user-friendly platform, the organization hopes to reduce administrative burdens and provide a more seamless experience for both local authorities and individuals seeking to challenge enforcement decisions.
