Powerful Typhoon Sinlaku Approaches Northern Mariana Islands and Guam

Typhoon Sinlaku, a once-powerful super typhoon, is weakening but still expected to bring dangerous conditions as it approaches the Northern Mariana Islands and the island of Guam.
Super Typhoon Sinlaku, a once-powerful storm that reached Category 5 intensity, is now weakening as it heads towards the Northern Mariana Islands and the island of Guam. Though the storm has lost some of its strength, it will still bring dangerous conditions to the region, including heavy rain, high winds, and rough seas.
The National Weather Service in Guam has issued a typhoon watch for the Northern Mariana Islands, including Saipan, Tinian, and Rota, as well as a tropical storm watch for Guam. Residents in these areas are being advised to closely monitor the storm's progress and be prepared to take shelter if necessary.
