A powerful winter storm has been causing widespread disruption and chaos across the northeastern United States, leading forecasters to warn of extremely treacherous and nearly impossible travel conditions in the hardest-hit areas. The storm has brought heavy snow, strong winds, and icy conditions, bringing air and train traffic to a standstill in many parts of the region.
According to the latest reports, the storm has already dumped several inches of snow in many major cities, including New York, Boston, and Philadelphia, with some areas expected to see up to a foot of snowfall by the time the system moves out. Gusty winds have also created blizzard-like conditions, reducing visibility and making it extremely hazardous for both drivers and pedestrians to navigate the streets.
