In a bold move, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for attacks on aluminum facilities in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. The strikes are widely seen as retaliation for recent US-Israeli operations that have targeted Iran's domestic infrastructure.
The IRGC, Iran's elite military force, stated that the attacks were carried out using long-range drones and missiles, hitting the Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) plant and the Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) facility in the UAE.
