Iran Mobilizes Youth to Defend Power Plants as Trump Deadline Looms

Iranians form human chains around power plants, stocking up on supplies, as Trump's deadline approaches to open the Strait of Hormuz or face strikes on civilian infrastructure.
As tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate, the Iranian government has called on its young people to form human chains around the country's power plants in a show of defiance against the looming threat of U.S. military action. This comes as the clock ticks down on Donald Trump's deadline for Iran to open the strategically crucial Strait of Hormuz, or face the prospect of massive strikes on civilian infrastructure.
Iranian media has captured images of people gathering outside electricity stations across the country, waving Iranian flags and holding up banners in a display of patriotism and solidarity. This includes the country's largest power plant near Tehran, as well as in the city of Tabriz in the northwest. In Dezful, located in the southwest, citizens have been seen assembling on a 1,700-year-old bridge to join the human chain efforts.
