In the aftermath of an alleged gang-rape incident in Epsom, Surrey, the minister of a nearby church has strongly condemned the intimidating protest that took place in the town. The Rev Catherine Hutton of the Epsom Methodist Church, located near the scene of the alleged assault, has spoken out against the hundreds of people who gathered to demand information about the suspects from the police.
According to Surrey police, a woman in her 20s is believed to have been assaulted outside the Epsom Methodist Church on Ashley Road after leaving the Labyrinth nightclub in the early hours of Saturday morning, between 2am and 4am.
