A devastating measles outbreak has swept through Bangladesh, leaving close to 100 children dead in its wake. According to data from the country's health ministry, the number of children aged six months to five years exhibiting suspected measles symptoms has skyrocketed to a staggering 6,476.
Health officials are urgently working to contain the rapidly escalating crisis, with vaccination drives and other emergency measures being deployed across the affected regions. The outbreak has primarily struck vulnerable communities, with the majority of the victims coming from impoverished rural areas and urban slums.
