Controversial Local Candidate's Past Disciplinary Issues Uncovered

A Reform UK candidate running in upcoming council elections faced prior discipline from the Conservatives over alleged offensive and racist comments.
Ahead of the upcoming local elections in England, it has been revealed that a Reform UK candidate previously faced disciplinary action from the Conservative Party over allegedly offensive and racist comments. Derek Bullock, who is running for a council seat, was reportedly disciplined on two separate occasions by the Tories for his controversial statements.
The full slate of candidates for the May 7 elections has now been confirmed, with over 5,000 council positions up for grabs across England, as well as several mayoral races and elections for the Scottish and Welsh parliaments. This significant test for all the major political parties has shed light on some concerning issues surrounding certain candidates' past behavior.
According to reports, the Conservatives disowned Bullock in 2023 after he allegedly used a racial slur and called for people of Pakistani heritage to be shot. This incident was not the first time the candidate had faced disciplinary action from the Tories, as he had previously been reprimanded for other offensive or racist comments.
