In the new documentary Boy Band Confidential, 98 Degrees lead singer Nick Lachey lifts the veil on one such issue that plagued the group during their first major tour.

According to Lachey, as the band embarked on their initial tour, their record label provided them with a handbook listing the age of consent in every state across the country.
