Accused Pilot Seeks Bail to Live with Son as Lawyers Fight Murder Case

Former Jetstar pilot Greg Lynn accused of killing a camper in 2020 seeks bail to live with his son as lawyers apply for a permanent stay in the case.
Greg Lynn, a former airline pilot accused of killing a camper, is seeking to be released on bail to live with his son as his lawyers apply for a permanent stay in the case. Lynn appeared in the Victorian Supreme Court on Thursday, arguing that he should be freed from custody for the first time in almost three years.
The 73-year-old victim, Carol Clay, was killed in 2020, and Lynn is facing a retrial over her death. His lawyers are now arguing that the case against him should be permanently stayed, citing concerns over the investigation and the length of time he has already spent in custody.
